Hyatt Hotels & Resorts announced today that it will operate and manage the new 394-room Hyatt Regency Toronto—located at 370 King Street West—on behalf of King Street Enterprises. The hotel, which is currently undergoing a multimillion dollar renovation, is scheduled to open in January 2009.
Improvements to the facility include the renovation of all guest rooms and suites, and the lobby is being reconfigured to offer guest check-in kiosks, a reflecting water-fire feature, and a wine bar. The revamped hotel will also include a new restaurant and more than 30,000 square feet of renovated meeting space.
Wireless high-speed Internet access will be available throughout the building and a new StayFit@Hyatt gym and 4,700-square-foot Regency Club with an outdoor patio are being added to the facility. The outdoor rooftop pool area is also being updated with new furnishings, a fire pit, and an ipe wood deck.
