There's nothing quite like an event on a boat or yacht. Whether you're in Miami, the Bahamas, Chicago, or the French Riviera, mingling al fresco, not to mention on the water, provides a special ambiance for attendees⁠—no stuffy ballrooms here. Rental companies around the world, including Click&Boat, Knot My Boat Charters, and GetMyBoat, abound for event planners looking to set sail and take their gathering out to sea for a guest experience unlike any other.

Paris-based Click&Boat can provide planners with a curated list of boat and yacht rentals for gatherings of all sizes. The company has more than 40,000 vessels worldwide, including 1,100 moored in the United States. Amenity offerings include a licensed captain, a full crew, bartenders, or skilled chefs.

BizBash and Hubilo's Cannes activation in South France will take place on this luxury superyacht, BERZINC from Ocean Five Yachts & Events. The vessel—with a vast deck (pictured) that's perfect for parties—can accommodate up to 60 guests for dockside events.

This 95-foot Azimut yacht is moored in Nassau, Bahamas. It can provide planners with everything they might need for a fun day on the water: a dinghy, snorkeling gear, paddle boards, refreshments, and more. Click&Boat recommends this vessel for "intimate events and team-building excursions."

This 100-foot GetMyBoat yacht accommodates up to 30 passengers and is a luxurious option for hosting an event on Lake Michigan during Chicago's summer. Pricing starts at $2,200 an hour with a 3-hour minimum.

Set sail in Saint-Tropez, France, on this Concorde sailing yacht. The sporty yet comfortable Oceans Pure 2 can offer your event three deck levels and multiple lounging and entertainment areas. Spaces include three salons, two dining areas, and two sundecks ideal for socializing and networking.

At the end of 2019, the vessel completed a full exterior and interior refit. "The new owners have successfully blended true French art-de-vivre with sailing tradition in one of the most iconic spots of the French Riviera," Click&Boat tells BizBash.

This 167-foot mega yacht from CRN accommodates up to 50 passengers and is a glamorous way to sightsee when in Dubai. Its main deck is outfitted with an open salon, making it ideal for events and parties.

Chicago-based Knot My Boat Charters' largest and most luxurious yacht is this 56-foot Sea Ray Sundancer 540. The cabin includes a living room, full kitchen, two bathrooms, and two bedroom suites. Features include upgraded audio with a Bluetooth sound system and upgraded EVA foam deck flooring. (Although the boat can fit 40-50 people, the legal capacity of all bareboat charters—meaning no crew or provisions are included as part of the rental—is 12 guests plus a captain/crew.)

For something more adventurous and low-key, planners can look to this donut-shaped motorboat offered in Le Marin, Martinique. A close-knit group of 10 can hop aboard to enjoy a day or night cruise through the bay.
