One Little West 12th, the latest restaurant and bar to open in the meatpacking district, features lots of space and modern decor. The large main floor has four distinct areas: Low tables and banquette seating fill the dining area, which has ice-blue walls and rows of windows decorated with an intricate, filigree-patterned wrought iron grill. The main lounge faces the bar, an intimate caviar and champagne bar holds as many as 60 for cocktails, and a cozy V.I.P. area features a brick wall with recesses to hold candles. Chef Gavin Citron, formerly of Aleutia, oversees the modern American menu. The space—which opened last night—holds 350. —Mark Mavrigian
