The Nowhere Lounge and Event Space opened on Washington Avenue in April, inside former nightclub Six Lounge. The 3,000-square-foot venue consists of three spaces—a bar, main room, and V.I.P. room—and is open exclusively for private events.
Near the entrance is a small bar for about 75 people. The space is equipped with two 50-inch flat-screen TVs, a video projection system, a full sound system that can work in conjunction with or independently of the main room’s system, and a removable stage.
Directly behind this space is the 1,662-square-foot main event area. Banquette seating lines the perimeter of the room along with small cocktail tables and club chairs that can be removed for events to provide more space. The club is equipped with a laser system and LED lighting on the bars, main stage, four mini stages, walls, and tops of the banquettes to allow planners to change the color of the space. The main room also has an expansive bar, a built-in DJ booth, three video projectors, and can accommodate as many as 160 people.
For smaller parties, a V.I.P. room in the back can host 50 and has its own lighting and sound systems. The space can be used separately or in conjunction with a buyout. A list of preferred vendors is available.
