CHICAGO: Corcoran Expositions, an independent trade show organizer, has signed five new trade show management customers: the American Specialty Toy Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Materials Science & Technology, and the Wendy’s Convention and Expo.

HMR Designs will hold an event for its 40th anniversary on April 11. The event will give event industry professionals and clients a behind-the-scenes look at the design studio.

LOS ANGELES: Paws/LA, an organization that helps low-income seniors and people with life-threatening illnesses care for their companion animals, will hold its annual Pawsapalooza Festival & Marketplace April 20 at West Hollywood Park.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: M House, a coastal European restaurant in Coral Gables, has partnered with nonprofit organization Programa de Ayuda Humanitaria Para Venezuela to host a United for Venezuela fund-raiser on April 4.

The 24th Key West Songwriters Festival will take place May 8-12 at venues across Key West, including festival hub Smokin’ Tuna Saloon.

NEW YORK: Iconic Spaces, a company that owns and operates Gotham Hall and Ziegfeld Ballroom, has appointed Joshua Crane executive chef. Crane was previously executive chef for restaurants part of Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group.

The 25th annual Taste of Tribeca will take place May 18. The family-friendly event will serve dishes from more than 60 Tribeca restaurants and raises funds for the arts and enrichment programs at local public schools PS 150 and PS 234. 

The Northern Trust, the kickoff event of the P.G.A. Tour’s FedExCup Playoffs, will take place August 6-11 at the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City.

Brand storytelling agency Invnt has appointed Adam Harriden executive creative director.
