ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: The University Club of Orlando will open its new clubhouse on May 9. The clubhouse, which shares a space with Modera Central by Mill Creek, will accommodate as many as 200 people for events.
TORONTO: The Funhouse, an experiential art maze helmed by art collective Mondo Forma and Universal Music Canada, will launch June 1. Taking over a former Buddhist temple at 101 Lisgar Street, the project will showcase site-specific works from Toronto artists and six rooms created in collaboration with Canadian musicians. The experience was slated to open last summer in a former grocery store at Kensington Market, but it was postponed because of building site challenges and concerns voiced by local residents.
