CHICAGO: Operation Homefront, a nonprofit that aims to help military families, has partnered with CSX to hold the Operation Homefront Star-Spangled Babies shower on May 16 at the Sleep Inn in Lake Bluff. As many as 50 pre-registered new military moms or moms-to-be will receive donated gifts.
City Hall, a new venue from Atomic Hospitality, will open in West Loop in June. The venue will have a 5,000-square-foot bar and restaurant, an 8,000-square-foot enclosed patio, and a 10,000-square-foot event space.
