BOSTON: The Boston Pickle Fair will take place June 22 at the Innovation and Design Building.

Yotel Boston kicks off its patio and rooftop season with a takeover by Hendrick’s Gin and Monkey Shoulder Scotch on May 10 in the hotel’s newly renamed social and co-working spaces Sky Bar and Komyuniti.

NEW ORLEANS: The first-ever Big Easy Con 2019 will take place June 1 and 2 in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The two-day weekend event will celebrate the art of gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, and fantasy.

NEW YORK: DKMS, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer, raised over $4.7 million at its annual gala at Cipriani Wall Street on May 1. The evening event was hosted by Tom Brokaw and featured a performance by Seal.

Wilson Cruz will host the 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards – New York on May 20 at Cipriani 42nd Street.

A new members-only rooftop pool club called the Sentry will open May 23 at the American Copper Buildings in the Murray Hill neighborhood. The private rooftop will have a capacity for over 200 guests and the pool will have the ability to convert into a giant Jacuzzi for private events.

Lambda Legal will host its 2019 National Liberty Awards May 9 at Pier Sixty.

The Williamsburg Hotel will host the METa Gala, a camp-theme fund-raising event hosted by Jessica Wong and Ludovica Capobianco, on May 6 at 8 p.m. The event is dedicated to experimental art and music, with an exhibition of immersive and site-specific installations, videos, and performances.
