COAST TO COAST: The South Australian Tourism Commission is hosting a Trade Roadshow in North America, featuring 13 tourism operators. The tour will go to New York on August 20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Metropolitan; Chicago on August 21 at the Westin Lombard; and Los Angeles on August 23 at the Beverly Hills Marriott. Featured operators include A Taste of South Australia, Discovery Parks, and Air New Zealand.
ATLANTA: The City of Dunwoody will welcome new venues later this year and through 2020. Breadwinner Café and Bakery is slated to open this fall; Duke of Wellington Pub, managed by Dunwoody Restaurant Group, will open this fall on Ashwood Dunwoody Road; and Lazy Dog Restaurant will open at Perimeter Mall in 2020.
DENVER: Maine Shack, a New England-style seafood restaurant from Culinary Creative Group, has opened in the Lower Highlands neighborhood. The restaurant has a 59-seat dining room and a 40-seat patio.
LOS ANGELES: “Fashion & Fantasy: The Art of The Masked Singer,” an exhibit highlighting costumes from the Fox series the Masked Singer, opened Wednesday and runs through September 29 at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills.
Next weekend, the annual Beautycon Los Angeles festival will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center. Taking place August 10 to 11, highlights will include a fireside chat with Priyanka Chopra, a conversation between Arianna Huffington and Ciara, and plenty of interactive, photo-friendly brand activations.

TORONTO: Toronto chef Matty Matheson will host MattyFest 2019 on September 7 at R.B.C. Echo Beach. Wu-Tang Clan will perform at the festival, which will feature three American pitmasters and more than 20 local restaurants.
