COLUMBUS, OHIO: Hilton Columbus Downtown is slated to open in 2022. The 1,000-room convention hotel will have 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The property is owned by the Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority and managed by Hilton Management Services.

DENVER: Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa has named Michael Bergin director of sales, events, and marketing.

LAS VEGAS: Live Design’s L.D.I. 2019 will take place November 18-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. 

The 2020 Billboard Music Awards will air live on NBC on April 29 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. 

LOS ANGELES: The inaugural Taste of of the Santa Ynez Valley will take place October 17-20 in the wine country towns of Los Alamos, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Solvang, Ballard, and Buellton. More than 100 restaurants, wineries, breweries, and entertainment venues will participate.

NEW YORK: The third annual Tribeca TV Festival will take place September 12-15. Events will include a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Friends and and the world premiere of the Transparent musical finale. 

She Media’s 15th annual #BlogHer19 Creators Summit will take place September 18-19 at the Brooklyn Expo Center. Actress Connie Britton will keynote the event. 

Make-A-Wish Foundation’s 10th annual Toast To Wishes event will take place October 24 at Stage 48. The event is produced by Aced It Events.

PHILADELPHIA: Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center is now open. The hotel has 180 rooms and 39 suites, along with two restaurants from chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Greg Vernick. The hotel has 15,602 square feet of meeting and event space. 

SAN FRANCISCO: The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay will host its first-ever Rosé Garden event on September 7.
