MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: To inform locals and visitors about Hurricane Dorian relief efforts in the Bahamas, Discover the Palm Beaches has launched an online resource detailing ways that local companies are getting involved, foundations that people can donate to, and locations where people can volunteer. The Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line also is embarking on a humanitarian cruise to deliver supplies and transport Bahamian residents stranded in South Florida, home.

VANCOUVER: After its 11th season in New York, the Architecture and Design Film Festival will have its inaugural editions in Vancouver November 7-10 and Toronto November 14-17. The Vancouver festival have screenings at Vancity Theatre and Scotia Dance Center. The Toronto festival will take place at TIFF Lightbox Theatre.
