HOUSTON: Shake Shack has announced it is "shacking" it up with GrubHub and bringing an exclusive concert series, Sound Bites, to Houston on December 13. The event will feature a performance by pop band Shaed. 

LOS ANGELES: The Radisson Blu Anaheim has named Steve Lindburg as its general manager. The 326-room hotel, located one mile from Disneyland, is slated to open in September 2020.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: On Location Experiences, the official hospitality partner of the National Football League, and Bud Light announced Thursday the return of the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest. Celebrating its second year, the three-night festival runs from January 30 through February 1 at AmericanAirlines Arena. The event will feature performances by Guns N’ Roses, Maroon 5, and others.

NEW ORLEANS: The Independent Lodging Congress has opened registration for its first event in New Orleans, INDIE Confab New Orleans 2020. Taking place January 13 and 14, the meeting is meant to connect people from the worlds of hotels, food and beverage, design, and finance. 

NEW YORK: NYC Pride executive director Chris Frederick has announced his departure from the organization, effective today. He is joining Out Leadership as managing director of global events.

Unicorn Events is expanding its U.S. presence with an office in New York and a senior hire. Zachary Tranter will head up the brand agency’s U.S. clients and domestic projects as senior project manager. He recently joined the agency from the Consulate General of Canada in New York, where he served as head of events and visits.

WASHINGTON: SandboX, an event venue in Georgetown, will serve as a modern jazz club featuring live performances in December. The shows will be presented in conjunction with the annual Georgetown GLOW exhibit and the Filament live dance performances nearby.
