ATLANTA: Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead will host a wellness retreat on February 29.

LOS ANGELES: Variety has promoted John Ross to vice president of features and events.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Council of the Americas has announced that the Symposium and 26th Bravo Business Awards will be held October 23 at the Four Seasons Hotel. 

NEW YORK: Celebrity chef Daniel Humm and the NoMad Hotel group have officially parted ways, according to Eater.com. Sydell Group, which owns the NoMad Hotel, the Line, and various other hotel brands, will take over ownership of the restaurants in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON: The owner of the Sofitel Washington D.C. hotel on Lafayette Square will sell the 237-room hotel by the end of the first quarter. Pebblebrook Hotel Trust has agreed to sell the property, along with the InterContinental Buckhead in Atlanta to the same buyer, according to a press release. The buyer was not identified.
