LOS ANGELES: Planned Parenthood's annual PPLA Food Fare will take place at Barker Hangar on March 19. The culinary festival will offer food and drink samples from more than 150 local restaurants and caterers and will also honor chef Akasha Richmond. The event annually raises more than $1.3 million.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Despite growing coronavirus concerns, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has announced that the upcoming Ultra Music Festival and Calle Ocho Festival will go on as scheduled. The festivals—which are expected to draw over one million attendees combined—will take place from March 15-22 at Bayfront Park and the Little Havana neighborhood.
NEW YORK: The PEN America Literary Awards took place Monday night at the Town Hall, with NBC's Seth Meyers serving as emcee. The awards honored fiction and nonfiction writers, poets, translators, and others. Playwright Tom Stoppard was awarded the PEN/Mike Nichols Writing for Performance Awards.
