Industry News: The 16-Day Los Angeles International Dance Festival, MasterVoices' Spring Gala, O'Cannabiz, and More

CHICAGO: Jerome F. Cataldo has been named 2020 chair of the board of directors for the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association. Cataldo, who currently serves as the president and chief executive officer of Hostmark Hospitality Group, was elected by the I.H.L.A. membership for a one-year term.

LOS ANGELES: The 16-day Los Angeles International Dance Festival takes place April 11-26 at 12 venues across the city. Presented by Nigel Lythgoe and Debbie Allen, the event will feature 30 performances, plus a variety of films, workshops, and masterclasses.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Imagine Plant Food & Wine Festival will be the first five-day plant-based event to take place in South Beach. From April 22-26, attendees will meet celebrity plant-based chefs, experience artisanal cuisine, and discover plant-based brands.

NEW YORK: MasterVoices brings its Spring Gala to the Metropolitan Club on March 9 at 6 p.m. The evening will feature pop-up performances, games, and entertainment, as well as a live auction.

TORONTO: O’Cannabiz will be returning to Toronto from April 23-25. The cannabis-centric event, held at the International Centre, will feature keynote speakers like Olivia Newton-John, Rachael Rapinoe, and more.
