Industry News: C2 Montréal Plans for a Fall 2020 Event, D.C.'s Hamilton Hotel Offering Rooms for Alternative Home Office, the Governors Ball Gets Postponed, and More

NATIONAL: The lineup has been announced for the Academy of Country Music's "ACM Presents: Our Country" special. The two-hour show, which will air on CBS on April 5, will feature at-home acoustic performances from the likes of Luke Bryan, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and many more.

LAS VEGAS: Caesars Entertainment has donated more than 250,000 pounds of food to nearby communities, as well as thousands of personal protection items such as gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to local hospitals, first responders, and charities. 

MONTREAL: C2 Montréal will take place in fall 2020; the dates and location have not yet been announced. The business conference will have a "reinvention" theme, with enhanced digital content including C2 Spark, a micro event series that will connect Montreal's creative communities to those in other cities.  

NEW YORK: This year's Governors Ball, which was set to take place in June on Randalls Island, has been canceled. Customers who purchased a ticket through the ticketing page can either request a refund or transfer their ticket to next year’s festival.

WASHINGTON: Through May 1, Hamilton Hotel is now offering its rooms for use as home offices during weekdays for those looking for a safe, clean work environment outside of their home. Guests can rent hotel rooms for the day and expect breakfast, as well as access to the in-room amenities, hotel Wi-Fi, and a Keurig coffee maker. Rates begin at $89 for a standard room and $199 for suites.
