NATIONAL: The postponed summer Olympic Games will now take place from July 23 to August 8, 2021, in Tokyo.

LAS VEGAS: On April 1, hundreds of tourism and hospitality workers will host a 300-car parade along the Las Vegas strip. The goal is to "show the world Las Vegas's tourism industry will recover," according to press materials.

LOS ANGELES: The Critics Choice Real TV Awards will announce winners on June 29; the final event format is still being determined. Nominations will be announced on June 8.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: The Food Network & Cooking Channel's South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) has partnered with FIU Chaplin School Hospitality Industry to create a relief fund to provide immediate financial support to independently owned and operated restaurants and bars impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Initial donations have already hit $1 million. 

NEW YORK: On Thursday, April 2, at 9 p.m., event planning and production firm Eventique will host a virtual entertainment event via Instagram Live, Facebook Live, and Zoom (upon request). Special guests will include mentalist Ryan Oakes, magician Doug McKenzie, and DJ Kristaval.
