Industry News: SHEIN's Virtual Festival, the Los Angeles Beer Festival's Interactive Event, Atlas Event Rental's Mother's Day Packages, and More

NATIONAL: Global retailer SHEIN is hosting a virtual entertainment festival on May 9 dubbed SHEIN Together. The four-hour event, streamed via Shein's free app, will raise donations for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Katy Perry and Lil Nas X will perform. 

Digital Nightclub is launching a virtual nightclub event on May 16. Attendees of the three-hour virtual party can expect DJs, contests, socialization, dancing, and more. As an added bonus: Guests will be able to choose from the lineup of DJs to allow them to listen to their preferred genre of music. 

SPIN, which owns a series of ping-pong social clubs around the country, has launched a new virtual experience designed for corporate team building. The 50- to 90-minute sessions include an emcee, ping-pong-related icebreakers, performances, TikTok tutorials, prizes, and more. The events can accommodate groups as large as 30.

LOS ANGELES: The Los Angeles Beer Festival—Virtual Edition takes place on May 9. On May 8, event attendees will be able to pick up cases of 10 special-release beers at select locations throughout central and west L.A. The two-hour interactive live stream will then feature guided tastings with various local and regional breweries, plus live performances and games.

MIAMI/SOUTH FLORIDA: Atlas Event Rental is offering tabletop rental packages for Mother's Day. The company offers four custom looks, and packages include linens, flatware, and more. Pricing starts at $60 for four guests. 

TORONTO: The Luminato Festival Toronto will return as a three-day virtual event, taking place from June 11 to 13. The virtual event will be streamed on Luminato’s website and social media channels, featuring a combination of live and pre-recorded performances, conversations, panels, DJ sets, and more.
