NeoConnect's Virtual Happy Hour, Resorts World Las Vegas New Transportation System, and More

NATIONAL: NeoConnect is hosting an RSVP-only virtual happy hour on June 18 at 5 p.m. The event will feature updates from the NeoCon team on behind-the-scenes new launches and ideas. Plus, a well known Chicago chef will demonstrate how to master the summer cocktail. 

ATLANTA: As part of the $85 million Lee + White development popping up in the city's West End neighborhood, Building 1015 will offer 17,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, and office space. In addition, the building will boast terraces and green spaces that will face the Atlanta BeltLine and accommodate pop-up vendors and a wide variety of outdoor events.

CHICAGO: Beatnik On The River reopened its 100-foot-long riverfront terrace and sidewalk cafe on June 11. While reservations are suggested, both spaces reserve tables for walk-ins. This will be one of the first Bonhomme Hospitality properties to reopen after coronavirus-related closures.

LAS VEGAS: On June 1, Resorts World Las Vegas submitted plans for an underground public transportation system that will connect the resort and the Las Vegas Convention Center. Passengers will be transported in all-electric Tesla vehicles in under just two minutes. Pending approval by the Board of County Commissioners, construction is expected to begin later this year. 

LOS ANGELES: LA Family Housing and comedian P.J. Byrne will host the virtual fundraiser "Home Together" on June 25. Intended to raise awareness and funds to end homelessness, the event will include speeches from politicians Eric Garcetti and Adam Schiff, a performance by India Arie, celebrity appearances from the likes of Kristen Bell, and more.
