US: A Virtual Gala That Raised $6 Million, a Networking Event in Chicago, Las Vegas’ New 'Entertainment' Venue and More

NATIONAL: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation raised $6 million at its virtual Hot Pink Evening gala on May 20. Hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, the event also featured appearances by Jordana Brewster, Edie Falco, Cheryl Hines, Patti LaBelle, Lisa Ling, Joan Lunden, Carolyn Murphy, Emma Myles, Amy Robach, Molly Sims and others.

CHICAGO: Corporate Event Interactive and Chicago Association Management are teaming up for a networking event for the Chicago hospitality industry. Taking place May 26 at the Mid-America Club, the event is open to job-seekers and partners looking for talent; proceeds benefit the SEARCH Foundation. Virtual attendance is also available.

LAS VEGAS: London-based “eatertainment” concept Fight Club will open a new location at the Grand Canal Shoppes inside the Venetian Resort in spring 2022. The third U.S. location of the venue, the destination will feature tech-forward dart games for groups between six and 400 people, along with semiprivate event areas, a food menu and bespoke cocktails. 

LOS ANGELES: Tickets are now on sale for Lightscape, which will transform the 127-acre Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden from Nov. 12, 2021 to Jan. 16, 2022. The after-dark, illuminated trail experience will span 1 mile and feature artistic installations.

NASHVILLE: Michelle Stuermer is the new director of sales and marketing for the Margaritaville Hotel Nashville, a 12-story hotel that opened in Oct. 2019 with 166 guest rooms, a rooftop pool and sundeck, and two on-site contemporary dining concepts.
