The organization hopes to return to in-person events in 2022.

NIAGARA FALLS: Niagara Falls will be getting a new community event campus, complete with space for concerts, rock climbing, winter sports such as skating and sledding, and more. While the campus falls on the New York side, the Niagara County Center for Economic Development aims to attract Canadian guests and events as well.

The new space is two stories and equipped with two lanes of bocce ball, tabletop shuffleboard, a game called Ringo and a dance floor. Cocktails on tap and snacks are available from Fidel Gastro's. The larger upstairs space can hold as many as 40 guests for meetings and events.

WOLFVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA: Devour! The Food Film Fest will take place from Oct. 19-24 and is themed Global Indigenous Cinema and Cuisine. The event is hybrid this year and will play 45 different films for both in-person and virtual attendees; the opening screening will be held at the Al Whittle Theater. There will be eight Indigenous chefs collaborating on events throughout the week as well.
