CANADA: Vancouver International Auto Show’s 2022 Dates, a Holiday Experience With 1 Million LED Lights, Cedars Run for Ovarian Cancer and More

NATIONAL: Event experience company Bizzabo has acquired Israeli virtual event platform TeeVid. Through the new partnership, Bizzabo will now offer a full video production suite, which will allow planners to create content and video for attendees and partners that blends into a seamless TV-like experience. It’s Bizzabo's third acquisition in five months, following previously announced team-ups with Whalebone and x.ai. 

Virtual event platform vFairs is teaming up with the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR), the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) for an upcoming virtual career fair. The event, Mining Needs You Virtual Career Fair, will take place on Nov. 8-9, and feature career opportunities, webinars, networking and more.

MONTREAL: The Cedars Cancer Foundation's sixth annual Cedars Run for Ovarian Cancer raised more than $130,000. The event took place on Oct. 17 in Mount Royal and drew 320 participants.

VANCOUVER: Following a two-year hiatus, the Vancouver International Auto Show will return from March 23-27, 2022, at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The 102nd show will highlight the latest in vehicle developments, advanced safety systems and electric vehicles.

VAUGHAN, ONTARIO: Holiday Night of Lights will open at Assembly Park from Nov. 26 to Jan. 2. The immersive walkthrough experience, which takes about 40 minutes to complete, will feature more than 1 million LED lights and four light tunnels for guests to explore, with lights synchronized to classic holiday songs.
