EDMONTON: Winspear Centre, Edmonton's music venue on Churchill Square, is undergoing a $65 million expansion that will turn a surface parking lot into 41,000 square feet of mixed-use cultural space. VANCOUVER: Bike’s on Ice, a new experience from the event team behind Wizard’s Den and Tinseltown Christmas, is coming to Vancouver from March 25-27. Participants will be invited to race on custom-made ice bikes—which have blades in the place of rear wheels—at an as-of-yet undisclosed location in the city. Ultimately, the fastest racers will be named Ice King and Ice Queen.
