GLOBAL: The Healing Summit, an event from hospitality brand Healing Hotels of the World, will take place Sept. 3-4 at the Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira, Portugal. The gathering, which will limit attendance to 130 people, aims to bring together a variety of socially conscious speakers from the fields of investment, science, hospitality, travel and more. Registration opens Feb. 1.

NATIONAL: 1-800-Flowers.com Inc. has acquired Alice’s Table, further expanding its experiential offerings for customers. Alice’s Table, launched in 2015, offers fully virtual floral and culinary experiences to public event guests, as well as to private and corporate clients across the country. It joins 1-800-Flowers.com’s portfolio of more than a dozen gifting brands.

ATLANTA: The Atlanta Jewish Life Festival is returning to the Georgia Aquarium for the third year on Feb. 27. The event, founded by the Atlanta Jewish Times, is the city's largest single-day festival promoting and celebrating Jewish and Israeli arts, food, music and culture while also connecting the community to local synagogues, nonprofits and social action groups.

NEW YORK: DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) has officially launched DIFFA By Design, a new three-day immersive design experience taking place March 24-26 at Center 415. An evolved iteration of the Dining by Design event series, DIFFA By Design will offer installations, interactive experiences, events and more to raise awareness and funds to combat AIDS, homelessness, food scarcity and mental health issues across the country.

ORLANDO/CENTRAL FLORIDA: Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is returning for the 28th annual Paws In The Park pet festival at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando on Feb. 12. The festival will feature adoptable pets, doggy sports, a pet costume contest and parade, food trucks, a beer garden, pet-friendly vendors and more.
