CALGARY: Think Spring!, the Calgary Horticultural Society’s biggest annual event, will take place Feb. 5-6. The event, which aims to help and inspire gardeners at the very beginning of growing season, will feature two days of presentations, an online marketplace, a photo contest, a raffle, prizes and more.

TORONTO: Restaurants Canada has rescheduled its annual trade show, The RC Show 2022, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. Organizers plan to host a hybrid edition—with a virtual experience powered by NexTech AR Solutions and an in-person experience at Toronto's Enercare Centre—from May 9-11.

Toronto’s Bisha Hotel has added an outdoor skating rink, Bisha Chalet, to the rooftop of its 44-story property. Guests staying at the hotel can book the rink for two-hour time slots, which include hot beverages and pastries. The rink is bring-your-own-skates.

"Babes, Barks & Beer," hosted by a local online social group for dog owners called Ontario Doggos, is an event for singles taking place at Black Lab Brewing on Valentine's Day. Organizers describe it as a boozy, fun and pup-friendly social for singles and their dogs; tickets cost $30.

VANCOUVER: Cocktail Connoisseur is hosting an immersive dining and cocktails event on Feb. 12 called "Moulin Rouge, A Valentine’s Experience." Gastown’s historic Millennium Building will be transformed into a Parisian cabaret for an art and dining experience. Guests will be treated to a five-course dinner curated by Oui Chef YVR, featuring bufala and heirlooms, sweet corn velouté, duck terrine and pork tenderloin.
