LAS VEGAS: The Las Vegas Strip’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration, Celtic Feis, returns to New York-New York Hotel & Casino today starting at 10 a.m. The Irish festival includes parades, live music, entertainment, traditional Irish fare from Nine Fine Irishmen and more.
LOS ANGELES: The Andaz West Hollywood has hired two new executives. Julian Tucker is the property’s new general manager, while Terrance Frederick has been named director of sales, events and marketing. The 239-room hotel will soon unveil a new suite for rooftop programming, along with a new drive-in event space with a 65-foot screen.
NEW YORK: The Garden of Dreams Foundation will host the 14th edition of its Garden of Dreams Talent Show on April 13 at Radio City Music Hall. The event’s 24 acts are made up of young people from the foundation’s 30 partner organizations, including Make-a-Wish, New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, Department of Homeless Services, Children’s Aid and more.
WASHINGTON, DC: The National Cherry Blossom Festival will kick off its spring programming with its annual opening ceremony, taking place at the Warner Theatre on March 20. The artistic celebration, co-presented by The Japan Foundation, will showcase an array of performing arts and culture from Japan and the U.S., and it will also mark the 110th anniversary of the trees being gifted from Tokyo to Washington.
