US: 'The Price Is Right' Nationwide Tour, Music Festivals and More

NATIONAL: CBS Original The Price Is Right is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a 50-stop nationwide tour, called the “Come On Down Tour,” beginning March 25 at the Santa Monica Pier. The tour will give fans the opportunity to play games, win prizes and enter for a chance to win a grand prize of $50,000, while supporting local businesses along the way. The tour will make special stops in cities including Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, New Orleans, Nashville, St. Louis, Cleveland and New York.

Dina Fenili Niekamp has been appointed to director of sales of marketing and brand of Miraval Resorts. Additionally, Niekamp serves on behalf of Miraval as a member of the Global Wellness Institute’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, whose purpose is to create a positive impact on the wellness of global society by promoting innovative wellness-based approaches to elevate and seed greater unity, respect and inclusion for all. 

Grammy award-winning artists Brandi Carlile, Shawn Colvin, Jason Isbell and more will join the performance lineup at the "MusiCares: Music on a Mission Presented by Gibson" on March 30. The evening will also feature a never-before-seen MusiCares performance from Grammy award-winning artist Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The virtual concert will celebrate both the power of music and Joni Mitchell as the 2022 MusiCares Person of the Year honoree, with every dollar from tickets purchased distributed to those in need in the music community. 

LOS ANGELES: BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach has announced music performance times as well as the featured chefs for the event’s exclusive upscale culinary experience. Musical headliners include Weezer, The Smashing Pumpkins and the Steve Miller Band. The DAOU SideStage Experience provides foodies the opportunity to be seated on stage (literally) and served a four-course meal by celebrity chefs while their favorite musicians perform; featured chefs include Ray Hayashi of RYLA in Hermosa Beach, Kevin Meehan of Kali in Los Angeles and BeachLife’s own executive chef Jacob Ramos.

NEW ORLEANS: Ace Hotel New Orleans announced the return of its Six of Saturns Festival—a 10-day celebration of music, culture and collaborative spirit at its on-site music venue, Three Keys, coinciding with the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which is slated to be held April 28 to May 8. Artists include New Orleans-based Afro-Caribbean producer and musician ÌFÉ, Grammy award-winning multi-instrumentalist Jon Cleary and more.
