GLOBAL: FitXR, a virtual reality (VR) fitness app, has announced creative collective Thinkingbox as its agency of record. In the strategic and creative partnership, Thinkingbox will handle FitXR’s visual and conceptual rebranding, digital strategy, and website development, as well as design, content, and experiential marketing. Vancouver-based Thinkingbox will also work alongside sister company AntiSocial Solutions, a full-service social media agency.
NATIONAL: Mosaic North America, a North American integrated marketing agency, has appointed Tony Ciresi as the senior vice president of commerce in the U.S. Ciresi brings 20 years of experience to the role, and will be responsible for leading a team of vice president and director-level team members to further innovate and incorporate the agency’s commerce expertise into its marketing practices.
Venus ET Fleur, known for its infamous, boxed florals that last up to a year, has launched the L’alphabet Collection. The collection, which consists of “Mini Letters” and fills three-inch-tall, letter-shaped boxes with flowers, debuted at Venus ET Fleur founder Seema Bandal Chadha’s baby shower last month, but won’t be available for public purchase until June 7. For a thoughtful, personalized gift, each arrangement consists of up to 11 super petit roses in the color of the customer’s choice (there are 18 to choose from). Ideal for party or event favors at bridal and baby showers, weddings, birthdays, and more, each arrangement is set in a Venus hat box.
LOS ANGELES: Audible Originals, a library of exclusive content, will take over the Broken Shaker at the Freehand Hotel May 12-14 from 2 p.m.-4 a.m. for an event dubbed "Have You Met Miranda?" Inspired by the 1908s psychological drama on Audible The Miranda Obsession, guests will have the opportunity to interact with Miranda herself. Food and beverages will be served, and the audiobook tour will continue to Chicago later this month.
NEW YORK: For its second year of its “Restart Stages” program, Lincoln Center will host a summer of free dancing, music, and live performances, dubbed “Summer for the City.” Taking place May 14–Aug. 14, programming will include over 300 activations across 10 outdoor stages. “The Oasis” will be the largest stage, with a dance floor, 10-foot disco ball, and mirror installation created by set designer Clint Ramos. Another stage—the “Outdoor Cinema”—will be located in front of Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall and will feature a mini film festival, which guests can enjoy via Quiet Event headphones. Attendees will also receive popcorn and drinks. A full list of events is available on Lincoln Center’s website.
