US: Tequila Cazadores' 100th Anniversary Competition, a Team-Building Activity in Casa Marina Key West, a Salt River Tubing Experience, and More

ANAHEIM, CALIF.: Event management company Freeman, in partnership with one of its top clients, Yamaha, will showcase at the 2022 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show June 3-5. This marks the first time Yamaha will have this large of a brand presence at NAMM, and it plans to bring its theme of "Make Waves" to life with on-site spokespeople and an experience centered around sound. Freeman helped develop stages throughout the event space, which includes Yamaha’s new retro record player, to give attendees and influencers the ability to truly immerse themselves in the brand's products.

CORAL GABLES, FLA.: Tequila Cazadores has unveiled “#TheCaz100” campaign to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its original tequila recipe. As part of the campaign, consumers will be able to enter for a chance to claim back a variety of celebrations that went uncelebrated the past two years due to the pandemic—including weddings, anniversaries, birthday bashes, office parties, Taco Tuesdays, and more. To win, all aspiring winners have to do is fill out a form on Tequila Cazadores’ website and select which celebration they would like to claim back. The contest is open now through June 12.

KEY WEST, FLA.: At Casa Marina Key West, a Curio Collection hotel by Hilton, guests can participate in “Just Sand and Water,” the property’s newest team-building activity. For up to 2.5 hours, groups will be motivated to work together, get creative, and express ideas and opinions while constructing their best sand sculptures. Resident master sand sand sculptor Marianna van den Broek, known for hosting popular sand-sculpting workshops and competitions, will also be on-site. And if this offering doesn’t suit a team, Casa Marina Key West also offers fishing boat charters, water sports, sunrise yoga, and bike tours.

ORLANDO: FusionFest, Central Florida’s leading cultural diversity festival, has announced the deadline for its Fusion Cooking Contest curated by Idrees Khan. To enter, interested chefs can sign up online by June 1. Sixteen chefs—professional or amateur—will be selected to compete on June 27 or 28 for a chance to win $1,000 as a first place prize and $500 for a second place prize. To watch the competition live on the downtown campus of Valencia College, tickets are available for $49.95.

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ.: Salt River Tubing is offering Arizonians the opportunity to ride down the Salt River. Attendees can enjoy the floating adventure daily from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., although tube rentals are only available until 1:30 p.m. Float trips can last anywhere from one to five hours, and Salt River Tubing recommends that guests bring one bottle of water per hour of floating, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes.
