CHICAGO: Jet’s Pizza is debuting in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, marking the 21st Jet’s Pizza store in the Chicagoland area. To celebrate the milestone, Jet’s Pizza will offer 21-cent slices of pizza with the option of one free topping from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 16. The celebration is available for pick-up orders at participating locations only and is limited to two slices of pizza per customer. ORLANDO: Global entertainment company Falcon’s Beyond Global LLC has announced a partnership with Moonbug Entertainment, a global entertainment company, to bring children’s brands to life with Curiosity Playground, a kid-focused experiential edutainment destination. Set to debut this fall, when guests enter the brick-and-mortar venue created by Falcon Beyond, they will encounter four portals, each with its own immersive experience and attractions catering to science, technology, arts, and nature. Beyond each portal, participants will enter a self-guided journey of exploration, interaction, and learning with beloved children’s characters and enriching environments.
YORKVILLE, ILL.: Illinois’ largest waterpark, Raging Waves, will open to the public for the summer season on June 4. The seasonal debut marks the park’s 15th anniversary of delivering family fun with 32 water slides, a wave pool, three kiddie pool areas, 43 private cabanas, a lazy river, and more. For thrill seekers, the “Aussie Mat Dash” is a six-lane, mat-racing water slide that will be open at the south end of the park. Tickets are available via Raging Waves’ website, and daily passes start at $44.99.
