NATIONAL: Leading entertainment producer ASM Global announced a partnership with local commerce platform DoorDash to deploy industry-leading, mobile technology-forward dining solutions to venues nationwide. DoorDash will now serve as ASM Global’s “On-Demand Delivery Platform” partner and will launch its services at ASM Global’s various North American arenas, stadiums, theaters, convention centers, and more in the coming months. This partnership will officially launch at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif. on June 11.
LAS VEGAS: The Legacy Club at Circa Resort & Casino is hosting a Fourth of July celebration in downtown Las Vegas with the venue's 360-degree sight lines of the city as the backdrop. Attendees will enjoy panoramic views of firework displays as well as an open bar to celebrate the holiday. LOS ANGELES: The Mondrian Los Angeles is offering a “Love is Love” hotel package that will be available year-round in support of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Every package booked helps support the Los Angeles LGBT Center with a $10 donation to the AIDS/LifeCycle Foundation. The package includes two welcome drink vouchers, a disposable camera, and the donation. The Skybar at Mondrian Los Angeles will also have a specialty Pride-themed cocktail throughout the month of June.
NEW YORK: The American Ballet Theatre (ABT) will return to the Metropolitan Opera House after three years on June 13. To kick off programming, the company will perform Don Quixote staged by Kevin McKenzie, who is preparing to retire in December. Other events include a black-tie dinner and dancing on the David H. Koch Theater's Promenade. Susan Fales-Hill, ABT’s trustee, will be honored at the dinner, along with the company’s next artistic director, Susan Jaffe.
ORLANDO: The Orlando Magic and GoPegasus, a travel and transportation planning company, are collaborating to promote Central Florida’s nonprofit arts and cultural industry. GoPegasus established the initiative, dubbed “Art on Wheels," as a program that converts a 61-passenger luxury bus into a canvas showcasing the works of locally based and internationally renowned artists. The next passengers to be transported in the “Art on Wheels” bus will be the attendees at the U.S. Travel Association’s IPW 2022 on June 4-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
