US: A 'Bounce the Mall' Pop-Up, the California Science Center's Future Space Center, a Sip & Slime Event in New York, and More

NATIONAL: Leader in inflatable attractions XL Event Lab has unveiled “Bounce The Mall,” an immersive family attraction popping up in malls and entertainment spaces all over the country throughout 2022 and into 2023. In an exclusive partnership with real estate investment trust Simon, Bounce The Mall will be in Philadelphia throughout July; in Elizabeth, N.J., in August; in Miami in January and February of 2023; and more. LOS ANGELES: The California Science Center broke ground on the future Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center, a 200,000-square-foot addition to the property that will contain 150 educational exhibits. Spanning three multilevel galleries, the expansion will become the permanent home of the Space Shuttle Endeavor, one of only three remaining flown space shuttle orbiters, and the only one located on the West Coast. Standing 20 stories high, the space shuttle will be presented upon the Space Center’s opening vertically, in “ready to launch” position.

NEW YORK: The Tribeca Film Festival, which takes place June 8-19, has announced that Tribeca X, co-sponsored by Roku, Inc., is returning to celebrate storytelling at the event. The annual festival recognizes the achievements of companies and creators who share a goal of connecting with consumers through the power of storytelling. Panel discussions will kick off with a keynote from global CMO of cryptocurrency exchange company OKX Haider Rafique. P&G’s chief brand officer Marc Pritchard will also return to the Tribeca X stage, along with Mast-Jägermeister’s U.S. creative director and head of culture Cliff Regano, and more.

On June 14 at 6 p.m., Sloomoo is hosting its annual Sip & Slime event in partnership with famed designer, artist, and creative director Jerome Lamaar. Tickets for guests 21 and over are $95 for general admission and come with two alcoholic beverages, music by DJ Flash of Fenty fame, and other special performances, plus light bites, including treats by local custom cake shop BCakeNY, and more. Additional beverages will be available for purchase, and tickets are being sold online via the Sloomoo Institute’s website.

YAMIKA, WASH.: The Bale Breaker Brewing Company has announced the return of ALES for ALS—its largest event of the year—for the first time since 2019. On June 25 from noon-9 p.m., the brewery will light its lawn lights and welcome guests to enjoy beer, food, and live music at this free, family friendly event. During the event, $1 from every pint of beer purchased will be donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS-TDI). The event will also coincide with the release of Bubba’s Brew, Bale Breaker’s annual Ales for ALS hop blend beer.
