ANAHEIM, CALIF.: The JW Marriott Anaheim Resort announced Rhanda Richardson as its new general manager. Richardson brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, where she will oversee 466 luxury guest rooms, 43,000 square feet of meeting and event space, as well as on-site restaurants and experiential initiatives. She will also manage increased sales and revenue and lead hotel expansion and overall guest satisfaction.
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.: Caesars Entertainment announced that additional property enhancements are set to arrive at Caesars Atlantic City later this year as part of a $200-million transformation. Renovations will include dramatic upgrades to its valet, hotel lobby, and casino floor, plus a new outdoor pool experience. As a leader in hospitality, gaming, sports, and entertainment on the East Coast, Caesars Atlantic City’s upgrade is part of a $400-million investment in the local market by 2023.
LAS VEGAS: Cincoro Tequila has taken over the exterior of Resorts World Las Vegas with the largest LED building display in North America. Now through June 19, guests can admire the installation, a lit-up basketball in honor of the NBA finals branded with Cincoro’s logo and featuring the campaign’s taglines, “Raise your game” and “Here’s to all champions.” The display includes the hotel’s 100,000-square-foot West Tower LED screen, 19,000-square-foot East Tower LED screen, 10,000-square-foot marquee, 36,000-square-foot Zouk Nightclub wrap, and a 50-foot-diameter globe. It was created by Feast.
NEW YORK: Forbes has announced a new partnership with Moët Hennessy USA and revealed an event series titled "Legends of Culture." Designed to celebrate people of color evolving their respective industries and paving the way for others, the series will amplify how culture impacts business, arts, entrepreneurship, and communities. The first event will take place in NYC on June 14. Dubbed "Queens of Culture: Legends of Business," it will celebrate 50 female changemakers and tastemakers in varying fields and from varying backgrounds.
On June 17 and 18, Boursin Cheese and its Host in Residence, activist, and TV host Padma Lakshmi are transforming 399 President Street in Brooklyn into Maison Boursin, a cheese-focused experience and culinary destination. Designed to inspire at-home entertaining as something that’s easy, elevated, and enjoyable, Maison Boursin will provide tips for home cooks and samplings of dishes developed by Lakshmi and Boursin. Tickets are $20, and reservations can be made via Opentable. All ticket proceeds will be donated to World Central Kitchen.
