CANADA: Modern Steak's French Pop-Up, the Edmonton Corn Maze, an Immersive Peter Pan Bar, and More

CALGARY: Popular steakhouse Modern Steak is running a French culinary pop-up through Oct. 29, transforming a portion of the restaurant into the Bifteck Moderne. Here,Top Chef Canada season two contestant Xavier Lacaze brings his passion for French food and steak to an innovative and experiential menu for the month of October. The restaurant will offer an exclusive and limited-time French steakhouse pop-up on the second floor of the Stephen Avenue location. Reservations are now available on the Modern Steak website.

EDMONTON: The famous Edmonton Corn Maze is back this year with a brand-new design. This year's event pays homage to professional Canadian football team the Edmonton Elks and features five kilometers of twists and turns, plus 85 decision points. On-site, guests can also enjoy a farm market with fresh produce and high-quality goods from Alberta food producers, artisans, and crafters as well as other fall attractions like the Corn Cob Express.

TORONTO: It's time to don your best ballgown: The Queen's Ball: A Bridgerton Experience is open Oct. 6-Dec. 4 at Cinespace Studios. Through the immersive event (celebrating the hit Netflix show Bridgerton), attendees are transported to England's regency area with stunning decor and period costumes. They can also meet and interact with actors, and can expect acrobatic performances, a dance show, and a live quartet playing music inspired by the Bridgerton soundtrack. 

VANCOUVER: Now open until Oct. 30, "Neverland: An Immersive Peter Pan Inspired Bar" is bringing adventure to the Vancouver Alpen Club. Here, guests can hop aboard the Jolly Roger, hang out at the Lost Boys Hideout, and help save Tinkerbell. Each ticket includes entrance to the 90-minute immersive theatre experience, one welcome drink on arrival, two bespoke cocktails, access to an exclusive themed cocktail menu, the chance to interact with Peter Pan and Captain Hook, numerous social media photo opportunities, and a variety of interactive activities. 

It's never too early for Thanksgiving planning. Vancouver butcher shop Luigi & Sons is now taking orders for its Thanksgiving Premium Dinner Kits, allowing patrons to enjoy a gourmet dinner from executive chef Andrew Richardson. The kit provides an elevated culinary experience complete with a prime rib roast, seasonal sides (think: slow-cooked yams and pomme pureé), and dessert. The Luigi & Sons team will take care of the preparation, so all customers need to do is cook and serve.
