NATIONAL: ASM Global has appointed Patrick Lynch as senior vice president, private events, in the U.S. He will work closely with ASM Global’s national sales force, focusing on new business opportunities for the country’s largest private event portfolio, which includes many prestigious venues across the U.S. Most recently, Lynch worked as head of sales and customer success for e-commerce and marketing platform Mercato.
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.: Luxury resort The Broadmoor had announced that Abby Murtagh will join the property as vice president and managing director. Her focus will be on executing strategies that contribute to the resort’s financial success, as well as maintaining and improving the resort's Forbes 5-star, AAA 5-diamond service. She will assume the position on Jan. 4, 2023. Most recently, she led the renovation as the general manager of the Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort.
LOS ANGELES: LA3C, a first-time annual festival celebrating the rich culture and creativity of Los Angeles, recently announced its roster of exclusive activations hosted by Penske Media brands, including Deadline, IndieWire, SHE Media, Vibe, and Variety. Women’s Wear Daily will also host a fashion dinner celebrating LA-based designers in conjunction with LA3C, by invitation only. The inaugural fest will take place Dec. 10-11 at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Tickets are available for purchase on LA3C's website.
NEW YORK: Looking for some Thanksgiving plans? NoMo Kitchen, the restaurant at NoMo SoHo, will serve a specialty three-course menu available for both lunch and dinner on Nov. 24. Diners can enjoy holiday classics like the roasted heritage turkey roulade served with Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, cranberries, and turkey leg stuffing; or try something different with the golden tilefish or a lobster bouillabaisse served with root vegetables and fennel pollen. Reservations for NoMo Kitchen’s Thanksgiving menu are available from 12-8 p.m. and can be made on Resy.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.: With the help of South Florida interior design firm V Starr, the PGA National Resort has transformed its 40,000-square-foot spa into a wellness mecca inspired by the idyllic spirit of Palm Beach. The facility features 29 wet and dry treatment rooms, a hair and nail salon, a modern-meets-vintage barbershop, an outdoor pool deck with a café/bar, and a retail shop. The new interior nods to tropical surroundings with a palette of sandy whites, washed woods, champagnes, and corals.
