The zoo’s concessions will be open for food and beverage purchases, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the venue’s wildlife conservation efforts. Tickets are available on the zoo’s website and are free for children under three, and start at $22.95 for children four and up.

Titled Vax the Northwest, the one-day to-do is slated to give out more than 1,000 COVID-19 vaccinations to locals and is aiming to increase vaccination rates in neighborhoods where rates are currently low. According to Tennis Canada, 87% of Torontonians over the age of 12 have already received their COVID-19 vaccination and booster. Neighborhoods below the city standard include York University Heights, Black Creek, Glenfield Jane Heights, and Westminster Branson.

VANCOUVER: Bright Side Café opened at 3040 W. The cafe was designed by the locally based Studio Roslyn.
