GLOBAL: Richard Rathe and John Capano—two experiential marketing industry veterans with a combined 50-plus years of experience—have joined forces to launch The Ev&Ex Agnecy, LLC, a brand-new global events and experience agency. The Ev&Ex Agency will help brands of all sizes identify, engage, and motivate their audience. Rathe and Capano’s rolodex already includes the likes of Amazon, AT&T, Hulu, Google, Netflix, Toyota, and more.

MIAMI: CELSIUS Essential Energy has announced a multiyear partnership with Miami’s professional soccer club, Inter Miami CF. The partnership marks the energy drink brand’s foray into the Major League Soccer sponsorship world. Moving forward, a CELSIUS-branded concession stand will be incorporated into DRV PNK Stadium’s North Stand concourse, where fans can purchase a 12-ounce CELSIUS can to stay hydrated during matches. There will also be in-stadium signage featuring CELSIUS, special promotional opportunities, fan activations, and samplings at Fan Zones during home games.

NEW YORK: Production Resource Group (PRG)—a production solution for entertainment and live events—has announced significant investments in two new LED products by InfiLED. The products are the Deep Black 2.3 Series, for high performance indoor displays; and the TITAN-X Series, a rental LED system designed with transparency and acoustic permeability for outdoor affairs. The offerings will be added to PRG’s rental inventory for customers and partners to start utilizing as of Q2 of 2023.

PETALUMA, CALIF.: EKN Development Group has joined forces with Appellation, a culinary-first hotel brand, to launch Appellation Petaluma. Set to open in 2026, the 93-key property will be California’s first experiential boutique hotel. The Appellation brand was founded by luxury hospitality veteran Christopher Hunsberger and American chef Charlie Palmer, and the duo will continue to put F&B at the forefront with Appellation Petaluma’s culinary program. Upon opening, the hotel will boast the only rooftop bar in town, and an experiential learning program—dubbed Crafted at Appellation—will feature partnerships with local artisans as well as a full lineup of events and activities for guests to take advantage of.

SAN MARTIN, CALIF.: Northern California luxury resort CordeValle has announced that it promoted Chelso Barrett to lead golf instructor. Barrett will now be responsible for managing all golf and pro shop operations, including planning and executing club tournaments and events, and overseeing golf instruction programming. Barrett previously served as CordeValle’s first assistant golf professional, and his promotion comes just after the property unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation.
