US: Caesars Entertainment's Global Wellness Challenge, Visit Salt Lake's New Convention Sales Director, Summer Restaurant Week in D.C., and More

AUSTIN, TEXAS: The Carillon, the fine dining concept within the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center, has revealed a reimagined wine program in conjunction with the debut of its summer dinner menu. Diners can enjoy a bottle from the Dean’s Honor List, a revolving portfolio of premium wines available by the glass or bottle, or from the main wine list, which features over 20 sparkling, white, and red wines are categorized by body.

CAMBRIDGE, MD.: Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa, and Marina—a waterfront resort located on 342 acres of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, has announced Shane Nicolopoulos as general manager. In his new role, Nicolopoulos oversees the daily operations of the 400-room resort and its 18-hole golf club, full-service spa, and 37,000 square feet of meeting space. He most recently served as general manager at Hyatt Regency Portland in Oregon.

SALT LAKE CITY: Jill Lackey has joined Visit Salt Lake as convention sales director. In this role, she will pursue citywide conventions in the education, cultural, social welfare, and trade/business/commercial markets. Lackey worked for 22 years at Snowbird, where she held multiple sales-related positions, most recently as senior sales manager, handling an eight-state region. Prior to joining Snowbird, Jill worked at Michigan’s Iroquois Hotel and with Deer Valley Lodging. 

WASHINGTON, D.C.: Summer Restaurant Week, presented by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), officially returns Aug. 28 to Sept. 3. Participating restaurants will offer multicourse brunch and lunch menus for $25 per person and multicourse dinner menus for $40 or $55 per person for on-premises dining. Many restaurants will also offer cocktail, wine, and nonalcoholic pairings.
