CANADA: National Indigenous Peoples Day, Smirnoff at Pride Toronto, Ballet BC's MOMENTUM Gala, and More

BANFF: In honor of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, the town of Banff will host performances, cultural conversations, food tastings, and more at Banff Central Park. The town is also promoting activities hosted by other organizations, including the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Banff National Park, and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.

MONTREAL: Since early June, Espace pour la vie's Nature Brigade has been making stops throughout Montreal, offering free presentations in public spaces. Botany, astronomy, entomology, ecology, and the environment are just some of the subjects covered by the presentation teams representing Espace pour la vie's five museums. The Nature Brigade will now be touring year-round (not only in summer) throughout the city in indoor and outdoor public places. The main purpose of these interactions is to give the public the chance to learn more about the Montreal archipelago and its history, flora, fauna, and urban tree canopy.

TORONTO: Major vodka brand Smirnoff announced the global launch of its new campaign, WE DO WE, which champions the power of the collective and celebrates the magic of "we" that’s created when different people, ingredients, and flavors come together. The campaign will roll out with a digital-first approach in more than 20 markets over the coming months, with Canada being one of the first to see it come to life during Pride Toronto, which runs through the end of the month.

VANCOUVER: Air Canada announced the expansion of its international network with the addition of nonstop flights between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Singapore's Changi International Airport (SIN). The new route will operate four times weekly beginning April 3, 2024, onboard Air Canada's flagship Dreamliner fleet.

Gala event MOMENTUM returns to Vancouver’s Rocky Mountaineer Station for one night only on Saturday, June 24.
