MIAMI: Mandarin Oriental has announced an agreement to manage a new Mandarin Oriental hotel and branded residences in Miami's Brickell Key neighborhood. The new Mandarin Oriental, Miami and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Miami are set to open in 2030. The project is being developed by Swire Properties, Mandarin Oriental’s joint-venture partner at the existing Mandarin Oriental, Miami, and will form part of the One Island Drive development, consisting of two towers connected by an amenity podium. The new-build hotel will feature 151 guest rooms, including 60 suites, as well as 61 private residences and 28 hotel residences.
PHILADELPHIA: The Pennsylvania Convention Center has earned Gold Level certification from the Events Industry Council (EIC) Sustainable Event Standards for venues. The facility's partnerships with technology, environmental management, and sustainability companies such as Siemens, Republic Services, and Honeycomb Strategies have allowed it to make substantial and innovative strides in waste diversion, utilities management, and other sustainable solutions.
