US: Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe's New Partnership, Birch Event Design's New CEO, and More

ATLANTA: Tickets for the 12th annual Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, taking place Sept. 20-24, are on sale now. The event will feature curated dining experiences, Publix’s chef seminars, and spirited tasting tents celebrating all things Southern. The festival benefits Children of Conservation’s school lunch program and will once again take place at Historic Fourth Ward Park, bringing together chefs, mixologists, farmers, and brands to connect the culinary visions of Southern cities.

INCLINE VILLAGE, NEV.: Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a resort nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of North Lake Tahoe, announced a partnership with Move Mountains, an organization that provides corporate team development and adventure experiences for groups. Through the partnership, the resort is offering half-day itineraries that focus on growing mindful leaders and improving team dynamics.

NEW YORK: On the heels of its 10th anniversary, Birch Event Design appointed tech and cannabis entrepreneur Lance Emanuel as CEO. Emanuel’s arrival aims to energize a luxury-focused, customer-centric, and tech-forward approach to event design, as Birch looks to accelerate growth in existing markets and expand further in the U.S. and globally.

PALM SPRINGS, CALIF.: Thompson Palm Springs announced the appointment of general manager Jeffrey Miller and director of sales and marketing Kelly Teo for the forthcoming luxury hotel as it makes its debut in the desert in late 2023. Miller previously served as general manager of Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, while Teo was the director of sales and marketing at Thompson Dallas.

SAN FRANCISCO: Ghirardelli Chocolate Company officially reopened its Original Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop at Ghirardelli Square after a six-month renovation. The new design features North America’s largest flowing chocolate wall, the original 19-foot “G” from the historic marquee Ghirardelli sign, a replica San Francisco cable car that doubles as a seating area, antique chocolate-making equipment on display, and more. Event rentals are available.
