CANADA: Parks Canada's Collaboration with U.S. National Park Service, Gordon Ramsay's Restaurants in Canada, Toronto Waterfront Night Market, and More

GLOBAL: Virgin Hotels Collection announced the formation of its global sales team with the goal of continuing its commitment to its trade partners and increasing its worldwide footprint. Bringing together executives from both Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition, the team is composed of Vanessa Rothery, Shannon Byrne, Abigail Trangmar, Julia Grishkova, and Peter D'Elia, and is led by vice president of global sales Maya Latinovic. 

NATIONAL: Tomorrow, Ron Hallman, president and CEO of Parks Canada, and Chuck Sams, director of the U.S. National Park Service, will sign a renewed memorandum of understanding between their organizations to reaffirm their long-standing relationship and collaboration. The ceremony will take place Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. at Waterton Lakes National Park Visitor Centre in Waterton Park, Alberta.

TORONTO: Great Canadian Entertainment, a leader in Canada gaming and hospitality, announced a partnership with Gordon Ramsay North America, bringing the acclaimed chef's culinary offerings to its casinos and resorts in Canada. The collaboration will introduce multiple dining experiences to the Canadian market. This fall, Gordon Ramsay Burger is set to open its doors at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, and Gordon Ramsay Steak will follow next year at River Rock Casino Resort, marking the introduction of both brands to the Canadian marketplace.

The 14th annual Toronto Waterfront Night Market (WMNFEST), Canada's Pan-Asian food and floating lantern music festival, will take place Aug. 11-13 at the historic Stanley Barracks, Hotel X Toronto - Exhibition Place. Events will include the Chinese Zodiac Zone and the Signature Pan-Asian Food & BeerCraft Interactive Garden, where guests can discover a curated selection of Asian-inspired street food ready to be paired with a tasty variety of Ontario craft ciders and beers. Wine & Wok will feature local wineries and a soju bar. At sunset, guests will release their very own LED floating lantern.
