The latest includes new dining experiences like Shake Shack, an Atlantis scavenger hunt, a casino renovation, pickleball courts, and a new bar and lounge dubbed Bar Sol.
LAS VEGAS: Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the highly anticipated new property opening in December 2023, unveiled the award-winning collection of designers who are bringing the property to life on the Las Vegas Strip. Working in tandem with Fontainebleau Development’s in-house design team, architecture and design partners include Rockwell Group, David Collins Studio, Jeff Leatham, Carlos Zapata Studio, Lissoni & Partners, Lifescapes International, and Jeffrey Beers International. The group will create an aesthetic that honors the legacy of Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s original architect, Morris Lapidus, while looking to the future to bring the next era of luxury hospitality to Las Vegas.
MIAMI: RacquetX will host a conference for all racquet sports under one roof, encouraging ideas and collaboration between industry professionals in tennis, pickleball, padel, and beyond. The new event—taking place March 24-26, 2024, in Miami—will celebrate the current boom in the racquet sports industry. It will be held during the middle weekend of the Miami Open and take over the Miami Beach Convention Center.
NEW YORK: The Buoniconti Fund's 38th annual Great Sports Legends Dinner, presented by The Tudor Group and The Mack family, will take place Oct. 16 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. This year's honorees include former NFL pro and TV personality Michael Strahan and five-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Missy Franklin. Eight-time Grammy winner Gloria Estefan will emcee, while three-time Grammy winner Ne-Yo will perform.
Streaming service Peacock has unveiled Welcome to The Continental: The Hotel Bar Experience, a John Wick immersive pop-up experience at 82 Beaver St. in the Financial District. The experience will transport attendees inside The Continental: From the World of John Wick, the prequel series from Lionsgate Television that explores the origins behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe in 1970s Manhattan. Tickets are required to enter. Opening dates run through Oct. 8.
