US: Harrah’s Las Vegas Celebrates 50 Years, Disney's New Events Hire, Pinstripes Opens in LA, and More

AUSTIN, TEXAS: Circuit of The Americas and Proof of the Pudding (POP) are partnering to bring amazing food and outstanding service to the track’s 20 turns, year-round. The first major project comes with the upcoming Formula 1 Lenovo United States Grand Prix, taking place Oct. 20-22, where POP will elevate available food and beverage options across campus for both Grounds Pass and Grandstand ticket holders, as well as premium hospitality spaces. 

LAS VEGAS: Harrah’s Las Vegas is celebrating 50 years on the Las Vegas Strip. During the monthlong birthday bash, guests can experience food and beverage specials, participate in social media sweepstakes, enjoy entertainment and spa offers, and more throughout October. Later this year, Harrah’s will introduce a new guest arrival experience with a multimillion-dollar redesign of its main entrance and porte-cochere.

LOS ANGELES: The Walt Disney Company announced that Lylle Breier has been promoted to executive vice president of marketing partnerships and special events. Breier will hold a pivotal role spanning global studio marketing and enterprise corporate functions, overseeing various responsibilities central to the company's growth and engagement strategies. The position will include responsibility for driving all marketing partnerships for both feature films and streaming releases, encompassing multiplatform brand campaigns, creative content production, event sponsorships, and product placement.

Pinstripes—a massive entertainment venue offering dining, bowling, and bocce—opened at Westfield Topanga last month. With multiple private event spaces, including a private dining room, a ballroom, and an expansive event space with floor-to-ceiling windows, Pinstripes Topanga accommodates groups of 20 to 1,500 people for private events, parties, and celebrations. 

NEW YORK: Nonprofit bone marrow donor center DKMS will host its annual gala Oct. 19 at Cipriani Wall Street to raise funds for the fight against blood cancer. The evening, produced by HK Media Group, will include a star-studded red carpet, a patient and donor meeting for the first time onstage, a special performance from award-winning artist and actor Billy Porter, and an auction led by Mario Cantone. Confirmed celeb guests include Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Vera Wang, and Marc Jacobs.
