Greatest career accomplishment:
My two proudest moments are launching the first-of-its-kind incentive trip that the entire company is eligible for based on peer nominations, and building a trade show booth entirely out of cardboard that produced zero waste and created a record amount of business opportunities.
Impressive stats:
In the three years I have been here, we have built the database by more than 20,000 contacts, created over 500 opportunities and closed approximately $4 million in revenue from events.
Specific improvement I’ve made:
Last year, our company skipped its annual retreat and had a sales kickoff and left about 40% of the company behind. When I negotiated our rates and space for the kickoff this year, our CEO was so impressed that he asked what it would cost to bring the entire company. He didn’t think we could pull it off, but we did. It went so well that he committed to doing it again next year as an entire company.
What I do outside of work:
I currently am the uncontested Fittest Man in Meetings and Events. The title is from CrossFit and I haven’t met anyone willing to challenge me yet but would love to be dethroned.
