Greatest career accomplishments:
In my previous role as travel industry sales manager for Omni Hotels & Resorts, I pushed our target opportunity to become our No. 1 producing business travel account. In my current role, I helped secure a citywide program for an education group that focuses on the academic and professional development of underserved and economically disadvantaged students. I helped illuminate the city’s rich cultural history that heavily emphasizes equity and equality, which was one of the driving factors allowing us to win the business.

In my first year at Visit Oakland, I was instrumental in driving a 20% increase in leads generated and a 21% growth in booked room nights for our Oakland hotels.
What I am working on now:
With the current situation with COVID-19, I am staying positive and using this time to set-up the groundwork for when we are ready to travel and meet again. I have a focus on creating and executing sales missions in two target markets, setting up a client event for the office administration staff of our local companies, and continuing to travel and represent Oakland on the road!
