What I do:
I plan conferences, convenings, kickoffs, consortiums and all the other five million ways you can say meetings for the National Governors Association. These meetings range from 40 to 400 people and take place across the United States.
Impressive stats:
In 2019, I was responsible for a budget of more than $500,000 for meeting expenses, and I realized a savings of 16%.
What I am working on now:
NGA is attempting to be more environmentally friendly in all areas of our purchasing, including in-house meetings. I am excited to move our organization away from some of the more standard options and into more creative, earth-friendly choices.
