What I do:
I design experiences through planning and executing all of the Florida Apartment Associations meetings. I am also the liaison to 10 association executives for the local chapters of the state of Florida.
Impressive stats:
Attendee registration increased by 61% since I started in 2011. Gross revenue generated by the conference has increased from $481,350 in 2014 to $963,280 in 2019. Sponsorship sales exceeded over a quarter-million dollars thanks to my efforts (a figure that was a total of $63,000 when I first started).
What I do outside of work:
I play in a competitive gay dodgeball and kickball league and also take classes at the Improvisational Comedy theater in downtown Orlando. I currently serve as co-chairman of the University of Central Florida's Rosen College Event Management Board of Advisors and am a regular guest lecturer at the university. I’m actively involved as a member of the ASAE, Florida Society of Association Executives, PCMA, LGBT Meeting Professionals Association and the Metropolitan Business Association of Orlando.
