What I do:
I manage logistics, meeting planning, and content curation for nine programs with an average of 125 events and meetings per year. Two of my major projects at the Greater Houston Partnership include growing the Houston Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs program and the Talent Resources Group.
How I got here:
I started my career as the part-time event coordinator for the City of Sugar Land, gaining notoriety when my first solo-planned event won both regional (Texas Festivals and Events Association) and international awards (International Festival and Events Association). As an independent contractor, I had a hand in many large-scale events in Houston, such as the Team USA Paralympic Processing, Olympic homecoming celebrations at the airport and the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show featuring Lady Gaga.
Impressive stats:
While managing the Houston Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs program, I developed a new social media marketing strategy that increased our Facebook reach by 400% and increased engagement by 250%, which overall increased event attendance by almost 40%.
