What I do:
I direct the MEDC events team, who plan major state-sponsored events both domestic and worldwide and handle a variety of protocol and international business issues for the state of Michigan. As a leader in international protocol, I am the first point of contact for our state with the diplomatic community and I work closely with our contacts to address their needs and concerns, diplomatic or otherwise. My responsibilities further entail planning foreign trips for the governor and other state officials and assisting with arrangements for visits by heads of state and other dignitaries when state government is involved.
Greatest career accomplishment:
I am extremely proud to have earned my CMP last year.

I implemented a change in how we book flights for our governor’s international travel, saving our organization nearly 60% on airfare.
